Arborealists Painting Group – joint shows

Lady Park Wood project

Lady Park is an ancient woodland near Symonds Yat in the lower Wye Valley and is a  unique ecological reserve. In 1944 the Forestry Commission set the wood aside as a research reserve for the study of natural ecological processes. For the last 75 years it has been completely unmanaged. The Arborealists have been given special permission to paint and draw in the woods in Spring and Autumn 2017. The resulting diverse works will be displayed in a series of exhibitions. There are whispers in the woods that the first of these will  take place during the Wye Valley River Festival 2018 which will run from 5th – 19th May with trees and woodland as the theme. ( )

To coincide with the Festival the  Arborealist group will be  having a Pop up exhibition  of  work from their Lady Park Wood project from May to September at the  Monmouth Art Gallery. This will be followed in 2019 by a year long event

Ann is a member of the Arborealists and  will be exhibiting with them in  this and  several  other exhibitions next year around UK including (rumour has it!)  the fantastic John Davies Gallery in Moreton in Marsh . Dates and details to be confirmed.
